Company History

The business originated in May 1985 in the home of Steve Peers whilst based in St Helens Merseyside, a self employed heating engineer. Seeing a gap in the market place provided him with the opportunity to develop the company to service the industrial and commercial sector with two of his brothers who were also heating engineers.

After relocating to Widnes Cheshire Steve took the opportunity to rent office space at the Waterloo Centre,. The business was incorporated in 1995 securing contracts with prestigious companies such as Mobil Gas, with new technology and recruitment programmes for engineers and administration staff, the business growth was structured to develop and expand taking the business into the new millennium and the 21st Century.

After outgrowing the premises at the Waterloo Centre the business relocated to its own office building still in Widnes in Sayce St. The relocation and further recruitment of management in the form of our General Manager Arthur Johnson in 2004, with a background in automation, his knowledge skills and experience in industry was to be the support that HBS required to raise its status to further levels of application for recognition by such an experienced team.

The appointment of a Service Manager provided the business with the opportunity to develop into separate departments where one compliments the other. In short term both departments excelled beyond all expectations.

The company over the years has endured everyday challenges be it economic, financial or compliance all of which have been tackled controlled and sustained and will continue to do so with the strength and the commitment from the team. The Company is currently undertaking plans to relocate again in order to sustain its continued growth and further development and expansion into a brighter and more challenging future ahead.
